Richard Berger is the Executive Director of the McGhee Foundation in Middleburg, Virginia. He has previously served in executive positions with Sprint corporation in Reston, Virginia, and SRA International in Fairfax, Virginia. He retired from Sprint in 2003 after seven years as Director, Managed Network Services. He also spent 26 years in the U. S. Marine Corps retiring as a Colonel in 1992. In addition to the McGhee Foundation, Richard serves on the Board of Advisors for Voyence, Inc. of Dallas, Texas.

Richard earned a Bachelor's Degree from the MacMurray College and a Master's Degree from The George Washington University. He resides in Middleburg, Virginia with his wife Karen.

Connie Marr

Connie Marr is the Secretary/Treasurer and serves on the Board of Directors for The McGhee Foundation in Middleburg, Virginia. She has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years as a licensed agent servicing commercial accounts, while handling accounts receivable and accounts payable. She became the personal secretary to Ambassador George C. McGhee and his wife in 1996.

Connie resides in Bluemont, Virginia with her husband Doug, their Chocolate Lab, "Kota' and their Yellow Lab, "Sequoia." Connie is also an avid marksman and participates in clay shooting.
