The Piedmont Philosophical Society will resume their talks on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 5:00 pm in The McGhee Library.

The Foundation is currently planning a re-dedication of Colonel Lane’s grave. This event is planned for late summer or early fall of 2012. More details to be announced as they become available.

  • June 13, 2011 – July 22, 2011: After a micro burst on June 12, 2011, all damaged pine trees were removed from the pine grove, the area was seeded, 4 large maple trees were planted, along with several Barberry and Spireas, and the Chapel was repaired.
  • 2010 – The Foundation received a $10,000 Grant from the Virginia Daughters of The American Revolution
  • 2010 – The Foundation received a $1,000 Gift from the Wedgwood Society
