Hours of Operation

One of the arbors leading to the ChapelWhile Farmer's Delight Plantation is not fully open to the public, we do welcome visitors for private tours. If you wish to review the grounds as a potential location for your next special event, or you are a garden enthusiast who wishes to stroll around, or even if you are simply curious, we encourage you to come see for yourself what makes Farmer's Delight such a hidden gem.

Please contact us in advance of your visit, so that we may make the appropriate arrangements. Please let us know if you require any assistance during your visit.

Office Hours of Farmer's Delight Plantation are Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm. We are closed weekends and Federal Holidays.


Guided Tours

Guided tours by a staff member can be arranged by contacting us in advance. On occasion, weekend guided tours can be arranged, but only with ample advanced notice. Tours on Federal Holidays can be arranged in advance if a staff member is available. The grounds are also closed to the public for private events. Be sure to check our calendar of events before planning your visit.

Also please note that the majority of the Manor House is not open for tours, due to ongoing restoration projects. However, the recently renovated North Wing first floor can be viewed during guided tours upon request.

The front parking lot is located in front of the McGhee Library. Upon entering the drive, as you approach the Manor House, turn left into the lot's hidden entrance to the left of the circle. A sign at the turn guides your way.

Overflow parking for special events include a gravel lot and the old paddock fields between the feed barn and the Chapel.
